: : I was wondering if anyone would know the answer to this question. I have always thought that a sit-sown wedding menu would usually cost more than a buffet. What are your thoughts.

: Not necessary. Sit downs require more staff. Buffets usually require more food. It all depends on the menu.

dittos to Carl, you could be serving a plated chix dinner, w/ salad, veg/starch, bread, dessert, cfe & iced tea & would be overall cheaper than a buffet of carving stations w/ beef & veal tenderloin, rack of lamb, silver chafers w/ pricey veg/starches, assorted artisan breads, coffee/liqueur stations & dessert/fruit/cheese stations with the labor for the expensive buffet much more than the labor on a seated dinner.......sam sears, cec
