I have been reading through the post here and have become seriously confused. I currently cater on site and was planning on converting my basement into a catering kitchen. At the beginning of this year I contacted my county Health Dept.(Gwinnett County, GA) about catering from home and the information that I was given was different from what everyone else is saying about it being illegal. They stated to me that it had to be a seperate kitchen from my family kitchen. Did I miss something?
