I also own a catering firm in GA. While it is true that your "kitchen" can be located on the same property as your home, in order to comply with basic GA regs you will have to build, equip and maintain a full commercial kitchen. For most people this is not feasible. There are many factors to take into consideration such as cost, zoning ordinances, resale ability, etc.

I don't think anyone here is opposed to anyone cooking in a licensed, insured, kitchen. I believe the opposition is to those who are not complying with their local regulations and not insuring themselves against possible claims of liability.

I certainly wish you the best. I know how difficult it is to manage with a disability while trying to do what you love.
