if I bought a M-5 tank for whip cream charging- how do I get it filled?Posted by Hans on May 10, 19101 at 18:33:56 :
I believe these are nice units made by Grunewald- the 2000,5000, they come with a tank for nitrous oxide( I think Grunewald sells these tanks called the M-5 specifically for the nitrous oxide) how would one get this filled?I called a local gas filling supplier, US I think, and they said they had NO nitrous oxide for food equipment, but that they had Medical nitrous available. I konw it's also used as a anesthetic at the dentists- but how would i get this filled for a whip cream charging unit? they said i needed a prescription for it no matter what my use(prescription?!...huh?...maybe medical liscensing)what gives?any other caterers run into the same problem?thanks Hans
