: : Does anybody know of any large quantity recipes on-line? I'm looking for a traditional recipe for potato salad for 250.
: : e-mail URL or links.

: Chef James,
: Here is the URL for commercial baking recipes. Quite good.

: Commercial Baking Recipes

While I'm unaware of an on-line source for large quantity recipes,
I've found several useful books at my public library (Santa Monica,
CA). Especially useful, a cook's reference book called Food for Fifty
by Grace Shugart, Mary Molt, & Maxine Wilson. "Fifty" is merely a
jumping off point. The book contains most the old standards, including
potato salad, plus tables for converting recipes and buying ingredients
in quantities from 16 to the hundreds. I also saw a copy for sale
at the Cook's Library, a bookstore in Los Angeles (310-655-3141) for around $45..
