I also would be of interest in this project. I am in the beginning stages of developing a recipe management project and see the importance of being able to exchange information with other recipe programs. While in our program I was going to design a system to be able to transfer recipes directly through the internet from one system to the other (no need to export to a file), but still need the import and export features to include other programs. While I have a very little bit of knowledge in the basic concept of XML as where I work now we are starting to deal with EDI format which is similar to the XML concept.

: G'day Tim,

: : Steve,
: : I understand about hlaf of what you say, but,

: Not bad! Normally, I only understand about a third of the stuff I come out with! :-)

: : I want to encourage you to continue and as an end user
: : I'll help in any way I can.
: : Something like this is to big not to happen.
: : TRB

: Thanks for the encouragement. It's early days, but I've been corresponding with Matthew Starobin in earlier posts and via email on the subject and I think we can get something happening sooner rather than later.

: I mentioned to Matthew that I'd try to set up a web site this weekend to give us somewhere to publish information on recipe/ingredient exchange stuff. I'll post the URL here later next week. Drop by the site, I'm keen to hear from all comers.

: Regards,
: Steve
