Order TrackingPosted by Karen Upright on June 21, 1999 at 18:07:02: We are a small operation with both retail and wholesale business. We do standing orders, special orders and walk-in. I'm getting worried that something will get lost with our current manual system (read: bunch of tickets taped to the weekly calendar). Is anyone (small) using an order entry system? Obviously, a $4,000 POS system is out of the question, but I'm having trouble finding something that looks like it would work. Order due times are especially important to us, as is the ability to create daily/weekly reports and production schedules. I've toyed with the idea of creating a Visual Basic overlay for an Access database, but I'm assuming someone else could do it better and let me get back to making cakes. Karen
