FYI, I was able to enroll in a summer course way back in 1990 at UCLA, Brentwood, California in Food Styling (i.e. "Food Styling for Broadcast and Print Media"). My instructor then was Denise Vivaldo.
You might want to inquire with UCLA, they might still be offering the same course. Good luck!
