I like coming up with weird designes that appeal to the customers sight.

1. Avoid using the word weird to describe food.

2. Apprentice with a food stylist either for free or for low pay.

3. Take pictures of EVERY PLATE you make, they are all important and can be used in a portfolio.

4. Network with photographers, food editors, advertising agencies, etc.
