: i'm a Senior in high school. i actually go to a tech school but i actually have a passion for cooking. fact of the matter is up untill now i just follow my grandmother's recipes, with out her cards i would be lost, regardless. i would like to learn to cook professionally without the cards, so are tehre any Culinary schools in Florida? GOOD ONES?

i am a recent graduate of a culinary school in lakeland fl.be very careful to do your research on culinary schools. i would suggest the florida culinary institute or the johnson and wales campus in miami.
make sure any program u get into offers a associates program
and not just a certificate.that way if u want to further youur
culinary or even go back to school for something else you already
have an AA degree. also i know this sounds wierd but try not to
think so much on the tuition price. integrity and quality are
much more important in this field.e mail me if you want to know
more. believe me ive been burned by culinary schools in the past
but dont let it intimidate you. also make sure u become a member
of the american culinary federation. they are invaluable and
even if you havent been to school or have much experiance they
will guide you in the right direction.save my email address and contact me
anytime.im glad to help.
