I'm afraid there isn't a school in the world that can make you a pastry chef, its a trade and requires training which a school can't do. A degree would come in handy , 3 yrs spent with a master baker would be a LOT handier.
Join the ACF and take a look at their apprenticeship programs, they'll put you in the right kitchen.
Its not which is the best school to attend but the best kitchen to train in that counts.
The business is chock full of untrained mediocre BS artists, theres a lot of room at the top if you do it right.
