I went to Le Cordon Bleu in London and I am a US resident in Oregon. Le Cordon Bleu doesn't even list Ottowa as one of their schools, but I did hear about it when I was researching LCB. I think it is a regional school that doesn't offer diplomas. You have to attend the one in London or Paris to receive the distinction of attending the school. The school in Paris holds the highest distinction. I'll be going back in Aug-98 to continue. Bon chance.

: I am interested in pursuing a professional career in culinary arts. I currently hold a bachelor of arts (English/Folklore (Traditional Foodways) and a Bachelor of Education degrees. I want to continue in this vain of study--mostly academic. I want to have a very solid practical education as well as one that will prepare me for a publishing and critical writing career. I live in Canada and the closes school to me is Le Cordon Bleu. I know the schools in Paris and London have the most incredible reputations for excellence but has anyone heard anything about the one in Ottawa? I want the best education possible and I am willing to travel outside Canada to attend a school that will prepare me for my chosen career. I hope someone can help me. Thank you Sincerely, Elizabeth.
