I am a 23 yr old culinary wanabe,a 'chef' in others words,and will be enrolled in the Western Culinary Institute this next Fall.
Like many I have read about,here in this forum, I am new to the vocational schooling aspect of it all, but have been employed
in restaurants since I started washing dishes at age 15.
Even though this is a new posting, I want to thank all the experienced artists that have taken the time to reply to all of the newbies.
I know this is a request that has been asked of many areas of the country, but here goes... I welcome any and all
offerings of info. on Western Culinary Institute in Portland, OR. Or just whatever you are inspired to write. I have a tenacity
for kitchen work and an insurmountable willingness to learn this particular trade. May I also reiterate the request for
internships in Italy? There are more people that want to know! :-)
Please spread the word about this forum; we all can benefit. But then I ask myself, 'what can I offer?'. I can tell you that I would
offer any experience to any other person's search for knowledge. But I tend to get philosophical.... anyway..... any info would be
appreciated and shared with the next.
