Abby,

There are no requirements to be accepted into LCB other than having Passion for French Haute Cuisine and a bank account to pay for the exceptional experience of learning it. Entering into LCB without restaurant experience is not recommended, as to take full advantage of what is offered is best consumed by a person that has been in the trenches. I started in Basic Cuisine with a class of over 50 students on the Paris Campus and the same group was whittled down to 5 when entering Superior Cuisine. Four out of the Five had real world kitchen experience before entering the program. Factors such as finance and competition played a roll as well as just plain stamina.
