Hi, I am in grade 9 and very interested in becoming a
chef when I grow up. I was wondering if any body would
like to give me some information on good culinary schools
either in BC, Canada, or along the northern coast of
California. I was also wondering if taking courses at
one of these schools is enough to become a chef, and have
a stable, well paying job. Is University education in
foods and nutrition needed? Do I need to continue with cooking
class in high school? What is the relative income
of a chef? Do I need to have job experience in the restaurant
field before taking courses or getting a well paying job?
If any body has the answers to these questions I will be
a very happy person.
