What about seaweed bread, using a natural starter french country bread... steep nori (dried seaweed sheets) in boiled water to make a tea, when cooled use this water to make the bread, chop the nori and mix with other ingredients.
Or..pullman bread made with scalded heavy cream instead of milk.(Pain de Mie).
I've seen some of the bread machine concoctions(peanut butter/choc bread), some people shouldn't be trusted with a bread machine.!
