Well,I did it. It was (is) grand... abundant and all that. About 8 feet of chicken wire ... craziness. Wired the frame to the bottom of an old cast iron pot for height and ballast.Made it just as large as the oven could handle. Covered it with leaf shapes, painted it with food dye mixed with egg yolk. Funny how the chef just assumes that I've done these things before. He says he hasn't seen anything I couldn't do yet. Perhaps skinny pastry chefs can be trusted afterall.
