: The reality for the web is the best resolution you can SEE is 75 dpi.
And I didn't know that, either! Any and all tips that you can give us on web publishing are greatly appreciated, especially since my employers are trying to drag me into it ... feet first. I'm just a low-end print person myself. (Pull it together, slap it on a sheet of paper, print it inhouse, next document!)
: That said, just as important as the pictures, if not more so, is the written instructions (I'll do the html if needed) on how to product the item (maybe a rewiew pannel for the method, I'm not a baker, let alone a pastry chef)
And I'd be happy to help with the words, if anyone would like that kind of help. But a review panel? That phrase has a nasty ring to anyone who's ever had to fight their way through a bureaucracy. On the other hand, ridicule (even genteel ridicule) after the fact tends to put people off badly. Sigh ... maybe a really informal review panel?
: :(Are you there, George? It's time to archive some of the older :stuff in "The Great Hall.")
: Its way over due, but I just don't have the time to sort through it. Suggestions welcome.
Hmmm, hard to say. Quick and dirty is broken down by year, but you just started it in late 1996. Maybe "Fourth quarter 1996," "First quarter 1997," "Second quarter 1997," "Third quarter 1997, " etc. (which archive being determined by posting date of first message in the thread) Your call -- after all, you're the web guru! Not to mention the guy who has to do the actual work. :(
: BTW, I will put up a seperate forum for this kind of stuff, so we don't collect too much irrellevant (sp) info in the forums.
I'd vote for a forum on "Food Styling and Web Photography," too.
Thanks, George. You're a sweetie!
