This is called Personal Chef Service and was rated by Entrepranuer Magazine to be the biggest growth small business industry for the 90's.

If you have a catering or other kitchen and staff to do the prep, why then you will be able to make a fortune. If you are working by yourself out of your's or your clients kitchen, you are in for a long work day or two just to produce the food. I should know, I do that in real life! It is a good way to make extra money, but boy, it takes about a day and a half to produce 2 weeks worth of food, whether or not you are doing it for 2 or 20. And if you are thinking about cooking the meals in the clients homes, you must ask yourself how many times can you do that in a day or a week.

You are on the right track, Home Meal Replacement (the grocery store term for the same concept) is only in it's infancy. And if you can dream it up, you can make it happen. Just do your homework and plan, plan, plan.
