I agree with you Carl.
It sounds as though this young (to our business) person doesn't know where to start with pricing. I just wanted him to be aware of all the factors involved when pricing.
When I was with DQ, we had to price down to the cost of 2 pickles on a burger. It is only when you price completely that you will have the accurate numbers for your bottom line.
I know and You know that the competative edge is important, but if his costs are too high, he can't afford to go into business, at this point in time.

: I agree with you totally, but I was assuming all of the items you listed were accounted for.... You cannot charge too much above a comparable competitor.....
