Does anyone have any good recipes with plantains?
I want to do plantain cups with black bean salsa for a Cuban wedding. I scooped 1 inch cups and sauteed them, should I deep fry instead? Also when cooking Caribbean style, are they flavored with brown sugar?
The recipes I see say saute, but mine come out dry and not sweet.
