1. DO YOUR HOMEWORK.
2. CALL WHOLESALERS IN YOUR AREA.
3. TAKE A BUSINESS COURSE.
4. CALL YOUR CITY HALL FOR BUSINESS REGULATIONS (permits, licenses, health code, etc.)
5. TARGET STRATEGY.
6. MARKETING STRATEGIES.
7. QUALITY CONTROL.
8. PRICE IT OUT.
9. BOTTOM LINE.

: I don't see an overwhelming amount of caterers in the Atlanta area where I live. I am considering opening my own business. I plan to target a "Low end " market- BBQ's , church functions, company picnics, selling to local restaurants and nightclubs, etc. I would need things like burger patties, chicken fillets, eggrolls, burritos, individual pizzas, etc.
: I am wondering if anyone can help me assess how much these items cost for a small business man. How much can I expect to pay for these items? I appreciate any help. I would not be able to purchase in bulk quantities as my business would be small.
