: Carl,
: I saw your post in another forum about your facilities. You say the room is filled with fine antiques, furnishings and local art. It is, in essence, a gallery. Have you given any thought to using that approach in the name? Something along the lines of, but not necessarily, "The Dining Gallery" or "The Banquet Gallery". I notice you didn't jump into the "food as art, chef as artist" fracas in the Great Hall, but perhaps you could even work that into your brochures (enjoy your special day [or other event] in our tastefully decorated gallery...where the food is as much an art as its surroundings) - or some such thing. I don't know if your market would go for something that flowery.
: Just random thoughts.

Actually, Gord, the name IS Premier Place Gallery. We have some beautiful designer pieces which we use throughout the facility. They are all there on consignment. I get a percentage of what I sell and at the same time get to use some great props and decor.
Premier catering has a great name and reputation so I had to work that into the name.
I guess banquet and party gallery is the best desription of what it is...
We had a great wedding reception in there last night. We have an piano from the late 1800's and we placed our cheese and fruit display on it.... We smoked a fresh whole salmon and she was beautiful, jumbo shrimp, oysters, escargot, caviar, marinated crab claws were a part of that display. Carved Beef Tenderloin, spicy meatballs, artichoke lumpcrab dip, crudites etc....
We dimly light the facility and use lots of candles....
I am sorry I took so long to respond, but I did not scroll down here to see your response. Plus I have been busy. I appreciate your comments, ideas and suggestions. THey are very helpful!
Have a blessed day.
