I was planning on the simple lettuce salad, but I need an assortment of salads; the lettuce salad, plus maybe some type of fruit salad and perhaps another vegetable salad. I'd like something pretty basic that kids will eat, but not completely ordinary. I didn't want to do a plain jello and fruit salad, but I'm sure the kids would eat it. Any other ideas?
