the reason you cant use your father's personal kitchen is because you can get a health license and you cant get a business account and accept credit card without the license.
So why are you doing business? What you are doing is illegal and you are putting your father and yourself in great danger of liability since you can't get insurance without the health permit.
My suggestion is stop now before something happens to ruin your father and you financially. You are more than likely subject to large fines if caught or have the possibility of being caught during an event and having to destroy all foods. This would put you at risk of a civil lawsuit by your client for non-performance of the event and punitive damages.
If you wish to become legal, there are numerous professionals here who would be glad to help you. But before asking us how, contact your local health department for information on your particular area.
If you cannot afford to do what it takes to get legal, then take your talents to another caterer and work with them until you can afford to do your own thing. It may not be as sexy as owning your own business, but it is legal and will keep you out of serious trouble.
