: Maria had some great ideas, and like her I have been to a tradtional luau, catered by a group of ladies from hawaii, and maria had a great tradional menu, I would definatly have whole roasted pig, if you are uncomfortable with that situation, call a local bbq restaurant or caterer, and ask them to roast one for you and you pick it up, and for a little show-have them cook only to about 120 F and rent a rotisserie, and finish on site, til the temp in the Neck is 165 F, then rest and carved on buffet line, very easy to carve......and of course get guava something for dessert, sorbet, ice cream, cake,,,,ect...good luck,,,,,sounds like fun.......Sam
