: I have heard Sam say it is the responsibility of the Caterer to make sure there is enough food. That may or may not be the case but if the food runs out nobody thinks the host didn't order enough food they always think it's the caterers fault.
Tim is correct, and I always reiterate that if anything goes wrong at a event, most of your client's guests will assume that the caterer messed up, DJ late, Caterers fault, Tent Leaks, Caterers fault, No electricity, Caterers fault, rain, caterers fault, ect, ect....so it is imperative that professional caterers cover all the bases, because the entire event is a reflection on You!.......Sam
