They are called Char Shu Bow - and I agree, you can buy them quite reasonably at an Asian Supermarket (check out any big city) I used them recently, and they worked beautifully in the steamer, so you could stack up bamboo steamers for a nice station display. PS they came packaged, and fresh, but I froze some of the packages, let defrost and used with good results.
