I am a great muffin and quick breads maker. I would like to sell these to local stores. I see two types of packaging. One that is manufacturer crimped, like a bad of chips and one that is saran wrapped with the company sticker and nurtrition facts on the front. Does that mean that saran wrapped item was most likely not baked at a manufactering style establishment, instead of a in-home-establishment or that they just liked the packaging? I am interested in baking at home and then selling to various establishments but I want a professional look. Do I need a permit to do this? Do I need to find a kitchen that is FDA approved? I appreciate any and all advise. Thank you. :)
