Try going to your local library and asking the reference librarian for a book on literary agents. Many are listed. If you live in a small town, or even a large town, go to your local newspaper and discuss your career desires with the editor. You can begin with a small newspaper. Also get the book: WRITER'S DIGEST. It will help you find outlets for your writing.
