I'm looking for some way to get my foot in the culinary arts door.
I'm very interested in baking and pastry, but living in Indianapolis I haven't been able
to find anything. There's a Vocational School here, but they want an unbelieveable
amount of money to get a two year degree. ( If I;m gonna pay that much I' just go get a Bachelor \
Degree). I can't really move away, and I have a family to support. My question is that is there anyway of
finding an apprenticeship? Can I go out and find a chef and see if he will teach me? Or am I just
to far away from the Culinary culture. I could really use some advice. Thanks
