I'm looking for information about cross-border (US/Canada) credentials. I'm a chef wannabe with long term plans to get my Cooks training (an apprenticeship style program in this country) at a local technical college (http://www.mala.bc.ca/www/discover/main.htm) with Culinary Olympic medalists on faculty. Would this be usable in line cook or sous-chef hiring in the U.S.? I'd very much like to hear from those that hire or those that have been hired out of Canada.
