I found your post regarding institutions which have "no minimum standards" rather offensive. My daughter unfortunately does not have a 4.5 gpa. She has struggled with high school because of Epilepsy and Epilepsy medication-related problems. She has, however, found something she loves - cooking classes. And, she intends to pursue that as a career. We thank God these type of schools look at what the student has done and what field-related classes they have taken, rather than gpas and ACT scores!
Also, I work at a University. Would you like to know how many "smart" kids with 4.0 or above gpa's I have seen flunk out or go home crying for other reasons!!!!! It hardly matters after high school. What matters is the type of individual that person is and how much they want to succeed.
