I am in need of a recipe for an almond pound cake that will be used as a wedding cake.

I love the almond cake published in "Baking with Julia" by Julia Childs....you will to! I believe it's the recipe from Martha Stewart, she contributes her wedding cake concept and recipes...she uses pale colored marizpan cherries (there's a photo also) as it's decoration. Definately the recipe of my choice!

I hope you mean the recipes are julia's and she contributes them to martha. after all, Julia was the queen even way before Martha was born.
