I was in Paris recently, browsing and tasting my way through the boulangeries and patissieries (sp?). Although I encountered quite a few pastries that I have never heard of, I am very intrigued with a pastry called "ludovicienne". Although I spotted in a shop window and don't know the ingredients, it resembled tartlette which appeared to be filled with chopped nuts and glazed in chocolate. I have no information on this pastry, although I have concluded that its name is probably derived from the Alsace region in France.
Can anyone help me out with more info. or perhaps a recipe? Thanks so much!
No clues at all, eh? Thanks anyway!
Sorry Rubble.
