I have located my disposable 3" tin pans to make miniature pies in. Not sure if I want to waste the time to make my own shells or pay $18/96 premade shells. Just wondering if a pasta machine could be used to roll out small amounts of dough to fit into 3" tin. they would be 19 cents each to buy them ready made in a tin.

How much are you selling them for?
Is it your profit?
Is it your labor?
Is .19 a piece cheaper then the guy rolling the dough in the machine, or by hand?

Depending on what kind of pies you want to make, I use wonton skins/wrappers.

Just press in a mini muffin tin, bake at around 350 for 12 minutes (keep watching). Either fill with egg mixture when you put them in for quiche, or let cook and fill with pudding when done for desserts.
