WebFoodPros.com Chef Forums: The Bakers Dozen: looking for info on concessions trailers

I'm seriously researching the possiblity of purchasing a mobile vending trailer, capable of feeding large crowds at fairs, festivals and other sporting events. I've had a difficult time finding good advice and information on trailers, locations, menus and pricing, etc. I live near Myrtle Beach, SC and there numerous festivals and events within several hours driving distance each weekend. Any advice or info on this subject, including other forums and message boards, or people within this particular industry we be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I'm not quite ready to tackle something of that size just yet. I'm looking at a 16 foot trailer by a company called trailer tech (www.trailer-tech.com). I'm planning on setting it up to cook pre-cooked foods that can quickly be reheated, such as Philly Steak sandwhiches, Italian sausage sandwhiches, BBQ pork Sandwhiches,Sloppy Joes, Hotdogs, etc, and serving pre mix fountain drinks as well. Quick breakfast foods might be an option later, but for now, just a lunch and dinner menu.

I'm talking to my bank (and by the time I'm done, I'm sure I'll talk to others), and they want product pricing information, insurance information, # of events I'm planning on doing per year. There is a lot of information that is really hard to get ahold of for what I'm trying to do.
