Hi everybody, I'm new to this site. Can anybody help with a simple question? I live in Michigan and want to go to a very successful baking school, hopefully near by. Does anybody have any idea of any? P.S. I do know about Grand Rapids Community College, but not a whole lot.
Check the other threads, honey, Andapanda has come pretty complete info posted on this subject.
Hi Everybody,
I'm new here too!
Can anyone tell me where I can get my Transmission fixed ?
I know theres a transmission place down the road, but I don't know much about it.
Oh and I live here.
Thanks!
Sooo, you want to get your transmission fixed, eh?...
Thank you Ladycake, I appreciate the help. Oh Chefspike, I believe there's a transmission place up your ass. Oh, thanks!
Well if there was, I'd know how to LOOK IT UP !
On The Web.
OR...............
I'd know how to search THIS site to see what has been written before about this same topic.
If you can't look basic things like that up, you are NOT going to make it in this biz, SS.
I don't know, It seems to me that "looking something up on the web" might include asking for advice from a forum of professionals such as this one but then I guess you'd run the risk of running into someone who senses that you might not be the BIG, TOUGH, seasoned baker that he is and he may take a precious moment out of his busy schedule "making it in this biz" to make you feel out of place. Oh well. Good Luck.

thought I would save George some time.
I have to go flex now.
I would highly recommend The Culinary Institute of America. Its located in Hyde Park, NY, its not too far from where you are. They offer a 2 and 4 year baking and pastry degree. They also offer certificate and other Continuing Education classes. www.ciachef.edu is there website. Check them out. Im graduating soon with a bachelors degree in Baking and Pastry Arts.
