I was recently given an English recipe for gum paste, and one of the ingredients is "mallow russe". I assume this is a readily available product in the UK, but I've never heard of it. Any ideas on whether it goes by a different name in the States? Or where I could get some?

bkeith, I've been to England many times and take gum paste courses there and have never heard of this word. Can you list the recipe and maybe we can go from there.
