I bought a new book published. Has anyone had time to read it and discuss it?

Is the book called "The Perfectionist"?

Yes. I saw it at the boostore in the new cooking section along with a few others. Just wanted to see if anyone had a chance to skim a copy?

I really did'nt get a chance to look at it. I saw it so fast but from what some of the internet write ups said. That it is about a Michelin 3 star chef who comitted suicide. Know to me that is really drastic and unbelieveable for chefs, or maybe that is just my thinking.

I had a favorite Chef Instructor from the CIA, a truly fabulous funny guy with an incredible sense of humor and a demand for perfection. He pulled over on the side of a highway in Atlanta on his way to work, and blew his brains out with a 45. Something do do with the bean counters want him to cut staff he was loyal to.

He did have a history of depression but you would nevr have known it from meeting him.

Just another example of the ultimate failure of happy pills.
They bury their failures so its hard to prove they don't really work long term.

a .45 leaves a big hole.
the sound most likely made his ears bleed.

Boredom , waiting for the bullet to come out the other side of his head.
