Hi! I was wondering if anyone can give me a little help on an assignment i'm doing on a deceased chef. I really want to do my report on Pierre Gateau, who invented the paris-brest cake and i am stumped on finding information on him i've looked on the net and can't seem to find anything. anyone out there give me any help??? it would be appriciated if you could

Paris brest, invented before its namesake cream, was named after the famous bicycle race, its made in a ring to symbolise a wheel. Or zigzag to represent the road.
Origianlly made with saint-Honore cream, changed by the pastry chef from Normandie to the current version with praline paste added.
