I was looking thru a bridal magazine (one that I know is expensive to advertise in) today and saw this advertisement:

"Love, Honor and Bake", (written next to a photo of a wedding cake).

On the other side of the cake photo it says:

"Whether you dream of towering layers covered with buttercream or a rich cheesecake with fresh fruit garnish, creating your own wedding cake is a beautiful way to personalize your reception. At The French Culinary Institute, we offer a wide range of pastry classes from professional programs to short courses. Please call our admissions office at..."

Helpppppp, all I can do is laugh! What were they thinking?????????????

i will tell you exactly what they were thinking.
they were thinking that americans will read this add and get excited.and may be go to school with them (not a very good idea)...

I think they are looking to get some rich women with extra time on their hands who would like to spend some of their money there. It's a way for the school to make a quick buck with not much effort on the teachers. Maybe a smart idea for them.

Na, I can't imagine they would get enough people to sign up for classes to cover a $15,000. min. ad cost. The school is in New York not the capital of stepford wives. It's kind of insulting love, honor and bake, would they publish it in a mens' magazine written that way(there are alot of male chefs) or would it say love, honor and make money in the mens' version?

And would they teach you how to make and decorate your wedding cake (so it looked like the photo)in a short course since the other option was a professional program?
