Don't know why I just saw this post - anyway - are these cookies made with just butter, honey, flour, nuts, and vanilla?? If so - e mail me and I can give you a recipe for them.

This kind of a response to a forum posting is just poor netiquette.
When some asks a question in a forum they want it answered in the forum.
If they wanted it answered off list they would say so.
Jeez do ya think someone is gonna "steal" your recipe?

No - I wasn't sure if the cookies were what she needed, and didn't want to waste forum time. However - here goes:( for 36 cookies - no idea how many you need to make)
1 stick butter - softened
3 tbsps honey
8 oz flour
dash salt
1tbsp vanilla
8 oz pecans - chopped
xxx sugar to roll in after baking. I beat the butter, add honey, then flour, vanilla, pecans. I roll in balls by hand and bake @ 300 for 35 - 40 mins. Roll in xxx as soon as can handle & again after totally cooled.

Hey George,
I have seen a few posting here and there that I wanted to assist with a recipe request but didnt feel I had the time for all the typing.
With my typing, a fax for a lengthy recipe is more in line.
Respectfully,
Charles Rivers
