Please....anyone have any suggestions for a wedding shower cake with a red, white, and blue theme?? This is NOT a 4th of July shower...it will be a 9 in round cake, and the shower is in September

Been there, done that.
What is the more predominate color?
I used red and white roses and very small blue flowers. Most important thing is to make all other decorations white. Blue and red are very overpowering colors, less is more.
Is this a military wedding?

Thanks for responding Raine...that's exactly what I had in my mind to do (white/red roses). The groom is in the Marines, so I suppose the couple will have a military wedding....why do you ask? Any more suggestions? Thanks again!

One of my very best friends married a marine. Her shower cake was done like I mentioned. Her wedding cake was done in all white with elaborate piping fresh greenery and fresh red roses around the base. There was enough color in the other reception decorations, so it wasn't necessary to have any on the cake.
I've done quite a few military wedding cakes, and seen quite a few of the reception halls. If you have any questions, just let me know.
