Does anyone know how long chocolate covered cherries can be stored? I know that they take 1-2 weeks to "ripen" once they are made, but I would like to know how long they can be stored after that. Thank you.

Homemade chocolate cover cherries will last for months in the refridgerator. I used to make them all the time for the holidays the only "tricky" factor is your chocolate. I usually work with non-tempered chocolate (it's easier), just make sure you don't over heat it when melting (which would cause bloom to develop) and refridgerate imediately after dipping.

Keep them tightly covered so moisture doesn't ruin the chocolate and they will last for a very long time.

Will the fondant mixture liquify while being stored in the refrigerator? Thanks
