Please Help!

Does anyone out there have a really delicious recipe for peach cobbler? I am looking for old recipes, not the new stuff that makes it's own crust. Anyone from down south and is a great cook please respond (or anyone else for that matter)

I wasen't on the net when your posted this awhile ago. If you want a recipe you'll have to show up here.I'm not looking for you (I get unfamilar box on my computor when I tried). I have a good one from a current book called Cobbler Crusade (don't have authors name near me)if you want it.

For the crust use the same recipe that you use for a pie crust.For a really good cobbler put a few dumplins in it(just cut some pie dough into 1"
and mix it into the peach recipe.Make enough for a top and bottom crust foer the cobbler.You can reach me at bakerman@intersurf.com

My grandmother made the best cobbler I have ever ate. She used a rich pie crust dough, rolled it out cut part into strips, brushed them with butter,sprinkled with sugar and put under the broiler and browned them. She layered these with her peaches and added a top crust. Talk about good. She made these in a dish pan, enough for about 20 people on Sunday. She also added a little vanilla and cinnamon to her peaches.

FOR A REAL GOOD COBBLER...(SMILE)
SOAK YOUR PEACHES.
1TBLSPOON LEMONJUICE
CINNAMON TO YOUR TASTE
FRESH NUTMEG 2TBLSPOONS
1-1/2 CUPS OF SUGER
THEN GO WITH THE REST OF YOUR RECIPE
LET SOAK FOR 6HOURS OR OVER NIGHT COVERED
(NO FRIG.)
THIS IS BEST WHEN YOU MAKE IT WITH YOUR HUSBAND SO HE CAN LICK YOUR STICKY FINGERS....JUST REAL SOUTHERN RECIPE.
