I was asked to make jelly cakes in the shape of human body organs.
I am looking for molds. Do you know anyone who may sell them?
Thank you, Rita, Italy

I am not familiar with what jelly cakes are?
As far as buying molds you can try some of the large non-retail candy mold makers. Most of them require purchasing their catalogs so it might be best to ask them on the phone if they carry your items in their catalog. I'm certain I've seen molds for real looking hearts, maybe brains, but I don't think I've seen much more then those two.
I would search the web at different professional sites that list professional sources. Candle makers molds also work with food so you could try that avenue also.
Good Luck.

You could try novelty gift stores too, like Spencer's. My boyfriend's got the one that looks like a brain. Yuk.

Thank you very much.
W. De Bord, do you know any web site/address of candy mold makers who could have molds in those shapes?
Sorry for my bad English. I meant jellies (got it right this time?)

I have seen alot of candy/soap molds at e-bay look under chocolate or candy. I've found candy mold makers thru advertisments in Chocolatier and Pastry Art & Design. I have one comercial catalog for Tomric Plastics, telephone number is 716-854-6050, located in Buffalo, NY. They have a very large catalog, but you must buy it.
Another place to look is... in the back of most "good" baking cookbooks they list sources. Try candy and chocolate cookbooks.
Try www.unlv.edu/tourism/catres.html that site is from The University of Nevada Las Vegas. They have a LARGE listing of food related sources. Look at their listed professional baking sites (specificly individual professional chefs) they often list their sources for molds.
hope that helps....
