I can't provide you with a measured out recipe, but Black Forest cake is a standard at most bakeries and comprises of chocolate cake moistened with cherry liqueur(kirsch) filled with sweetened whipped cream and cherries(or some sort of cherry filling, like a ready-made pie filling). Frost the cake with more whipped cream, garnish with rosettes and cherries and the sides with grated or shaved chocolate. Hope this helps.

For a more contempory version, the recipe published in the book "chocolate passion" (by the authors of Chocolatier magazine) is good.
