I am in the process of updating my recipe software with all Nutritional data for each ingredient( Energy, Protein, Fat, Carbo., Fiber, Cholesterol, Sodium, Vitamins, Calcium, Iron)
Does anybody have a web-based lead as to where to find this data for ingredients?

Makubo,
there is a nifty, free, USDA compiled, downloadable, searchable database at:
http://www.siestasoftware.com/download.htm
All you have to do is give your name, email and click to download foodcomposition database.
It's a fairly comprehensive, searchable listing of over 5000 fooditems.
after installation, the program resides on your computer. Takes up little room.
Only for windows OS.
