Hans,

uh..crumpets are wet rubbery round thingy's that have lots of holes in the top, brown on the bottom so they are cooked on a hot top , prolly inside a steel ring.
Typical English breakfast stuff.
I might have a recipe someplace but can't be bothered looking.
Too cheap and easy to buy kinda thing.
